It’s Taylor Swift!

Poor Taylor Swift was heartbroken when Joe Jonas broke up with her over the phone in 25 seconds. I don’t know which is worst, over the phone or in 25 seconds. :/

She told her fans the shocking fact on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. It was very shocking. So that made hundreds of fans spam up the Jonas blog with hate comments like “DIE JOE DIE!” and they had to delete the blog. Poor guy, but he deserves it! But sometimes friends disagree too, like Miss Gomez for example.

“I get so mad about ex-boyfriends, but if a boy hurts me, I don’t write a song about it. They don’t deserve it!”

- Nick Jonas’ girlfriend, Selena Gomez, tells OK! magazine referring to the song Taylor wrote about Joe.

Taylor Swift is famous for writing songs about ex boyfriends or guys who broke her heart. Teardrops On My Guitar was about Drew, a guy who she had a crush on but was oblivious and told her he loved this girl and the good things about her. x___x

On her new album, Fearless, there is the song Forever and Always which is about… yup… Joe Jonas! Uh oh, looks like Selena is upset about the song! I don’t want to chose sides because I like them both. Comments?

Watch Taylor on The Ellen DeGeneres Show

The next Britney Spears??

I see on some websites that people are comparing Miley Cyrus to Britney Spears saying she’s the next Britney! Just picture
Miley Ray Cyrus

becoming… Womanizer music video
The legendary miss Britney Spears.

Hmph, somehow I find that impossible. Miley’s singing isn’t that good yet. Besides she should stick to acting. BTW, Womanizer is a really really catchy song. =)

Rihanna

Rihanna Fenty

I got to watch Rihanna perform live and it was such an honor. She has won so many awards and her songs are top all the time! I am very proud to watch her perform live. :-D After the show, RiRi was exiting from the backdoor and some fans spotted her. They screamed resulting to people looking in their direction and running towards Rihanna. Me? I was standing across the road. I couldn’t fly over and ask for her autograph. XD Ok I’m gonna quote from Perez Hilton.

Pop sweetheart Rihanna has accomplished a super impressive thing!

Her album, Good Girl Gone Bad, has produced EIGHT charted singles, according to Billboard.

That’s huge! Some people are lucky to get two ‘hit’ songs off an album! The last person to do this was Shania Twain . Her album, Come On Over, produced eight hits from 1997-1999. However, RiRi was able to crank out her eight in less time than Miz Twain. It only took Jay-Z’s prodigy one year and seven months.

Here is a summary of Rihanna’s eight charting tracks from “Good Girl Gone Bad,” in chronological order, and their peak position:

“Umbrella,” No. 1 for seven weeks (2007) [Rihanna featuring Jay-Z]
“Shut Up and Drive,” No. 15 (2007)
“Hate That I Love You,” No. 7 (2007) [Rihanna featuring Ne-Yo]
“Don’t Stop the Music,” No. 3 (2008)
“Take a Bow,” No. 1 for one week (2008)
“If I Never See Your Face Again,” No. 51 (2008) [Maroon 5 featuring Rihanna]
“Disturbia,” No. 1 for two weeks (2008)
“Rehab,” No. 91 to date (2008)

Well done, RiRi!!

You gotta release Breaking Dishes next and go for NINE singles!!!!!!!

Book review

Title: Pretty Face
Author: Mary Hogan
Pages: 213
Publisher: HarperTeen, 2008
Recommended for: Girls, 13+
Rating: 5 stars

Synopsis: Hayley’s self esteem plummets even further when the guy she’s been crushing on asks her if she thinks her best friend would date him. She leaves the beach, a place that she hates due to all the skinny girls in bikinis, and eats an entire large pepperoni pizza without tasting it.

When she arrives back home, her mother can sense there’s something wrong, but she’s more concerned about her daughter’s weight than her emotional health. Then her mother delivers the news: she’s sending Hayley to Italy for the summer to live with her old college roommate. She hopes that this trip will help her daughter lose weight.

At first, Hayley is hesitant and yet excited about traveling. Part of her wants to lose weight and make her mother happy, but she simply loves food.

Once in Italy, Hayley begins to relax and adapt to the Italian way of life. She finds beauty in nature, the old buildings, the delicious food, and, finally, herself. She discovers the freedom to become comfortable in her own skin.

Mary Hogan wrote a wonderful tale about a girl and her journey to losing weight. This is not one of those books which tell you to eat salad for lunch or avoid eat food with carbs. No! I shall not spoil the book for you (trying not too!). The book has vivid descriptions of the beautiful Italian country. After reading the book, I found myself wishing I could visit Italy. Pretty Face is definitely a book you will want to buy the next time you go to the bookshop. :-)

Now or never

Have you watched High School Musical 3: senior year? I have. It was pretty good, I won’t say it’s the best but it was quite good. =) I love the waltzing and the dresses. :P I learned some lyrical waltz and Vienna waltz from drama and it’s very interesting to learn. =D

I even went to search for videos on YouTube for videos on people waltzing. =P Back to the topic, HSM 3 introduces us to a few new characters as well as the sneaky new transfer student! The new transfer student is Tiara Gold played by Jemma McKenzie-Brown. What really surprised me was that Jemma is only 14 years old! SHE IS MY AGE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m hyperventilating right now. Oh my god. It’s just unbelievable!
Jemma
Does she look fourteen? Uh no!

She’s even towering above her co-stars Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens!
HSM 3

I found an address for her fanmail. I don’t know if it’ll work but I’ll give it a try. xP
